@Ahrosen: it took dd about 3 months to get used to going potty at school. She was very well trained at home, knew the signs, had very few accidents at home. But for some reasons wasn't ready at school. So we put her in a pull-up at school and they kept working on it and eventually she got it. She basically had to decide for herself to go potty at school. From then on she's had like 2 accidents in almost a year at school. So for sure I think she just had decide to do it

Ugh, my LO 2 was similar. We Potty trained her in September and she was not comfortable using the bathroom at school until after Thanksgiving. She went half days and just held it until she got home. Her teacher told me to not stress it (easier said than done) and let LO decide when she was ready. We read a lot of potty books and talked about it too!

My 3 yr old son started PTing last month. He showed all signs of readiness and his school agreed it was time to give it a shot. We went for it with a variation of the three day method. Day 1 he had one or two pee accidents. No biggie. From that day on we have had ZERO pee accidents at home. He pooped on the potty a handful of times. For the first two weeks he would pee on the potty at school (full time daycare). He refused to poop and would poop his pants daily. We still use pull ups for nap and bed. For the last 3-4 weeks he will not even sit on the potty at school. He will hold his pee all day until nap, pee in a pull up, and hold it until he gets home. Some days he asks to keep his pull up on after nap. At home he asks for a pull up for poop. Will go In the bathroom, poop, ask to flush the poop down the toilet and be done. In the last few days he wants to pee standing up.

I could use advice on getting him to pee/poop at school. I think he is just stubborn (yep got that from me!) and wants mommy there for all of it. His pedi said let him be and don't stress. I don't want him withholding but this is getting crazy, right?!?
