I agree it seemed pretty expensive for a bar so I just agreed with them but also explained why it would be really useful for us.<br /> For other stuff I just would say it had really good reviews so I thought we'd use it a lot.<br /> I don't think people judge first time parents that much, there's always useful stuff they can get. I did try to make sure that I had a good number of items in all price ranges, and also made sure that everything on my registry would be things I would be comfortable buying for myself/for others. Then she complained that she had to go buy things like a changing pad ... well maybe she should have registered for it.</p> <p>I think I judged expensive things more before I had a baby.
