Which is awesome if you find some big ticket items on sale or something and you want to snag them right away. But I also put a car seat on there since I knew I could reuse our infant car seat but would need a new convertible car seat once she outgrew the infant since our oldest was still using her convertible car seat. I also generally just asked for diapers, wipes, a few new infant swaddles and blankets since those were somewhat worn out from the first go around, and some new crib sheets. We also had a larger space once we had our second so I registered for a couple items I didn’t have space for the first time, like an exersaucer and freestanding high chair. I didn’t make a registry and requested no gifts, but people brought gifts anyway 🤷🏻‍♀️ It was pretty much all clothing, which is actually really what we needed (we also had a girl after a boy). I got very few inquires from my family and some friends. </p> <p>But my husband family - which is most of our local family - kept pestering me for registry and when the shower was. You can justify it by saying that you need these items and want to take advantage of the completion discount. I felt uncomfortable aboout this but did it even though I was having a second girl 20 months after my first girl. They want to do this and we appreciate it but it’s not necessary. However, they are doing it anyway. It will be family and my close friends(5) people. Should we do a small registry or is that tacky? I don’t know what’s helpful or appropriate for the family and close friends. Thanks. </p>
