I can't remember specifics but I recall thinking I would be spending a lot more money following that advice. I think they might have been a little negative on second hand items for me (I got almost everything hand me down). I'm didn't follow all the suggestions from the book though. It seems like a great resource, but a lot of the products that I am interested in have come out since the book was published (it is several editions old). I'm wondering if I should purchase the current Baby Bargains book or subscribe to the website for reviews. Did you use either resource? Did you find them helpful? If you didn't use them, what did you rely on for registry help? I've looked at Lucie's List and Amazon reviews too. </p>
