I never had a pet growing up either! Anyway, I think it would be great if you are able to find a school that will teach her the values that you want her learn! Yes, we do a lot of things like that at home. She doesn't have a sibling (yet) but she does play with our dog and we talk about needing to be nice to him so he's our friend. Its just so hard that she spends 50 hours a week at daycare and 20 hours awake at home with us (plus 2 weekend days obviously). I was just thinking about this yesterday. My older one is learning a lot about being kind and compassionate with a baby at home now. I'm an only child and I definitely didn't have opportunities to learn any of this at 3 years old. My daughter comes home with all kinds of phrases like "Not Nice". I want her to learn how to be kind, compassionate, thankful, etc. </p> <p>If you are happy, what do they do? </p>
