We went to Menards yesterday, bought the wood and he got the shelf mostly done last night. Watching them melts my heart :heart: . More extravagantly, 2 weeks ago, DH came up with the idea to revamp my laundry room. He knew I hated the straight plank shelving and things would fall off of them ... it just looked messy and unorganized. So DH brought me to Home Depot (* one of his favorite places 😂) and had me select 5 shelves/cabinets and a clothing rod to hang wet clothes on to dry. He spent that Saturday installing them, fixing the paint and watching the kids as I reorganized the entire laundry/storage room. He and DS make his lunch in the kitchen and DH cuts up a bunch of fruit for DS to munch on to keep busy. I HATE taking the trash out in the dark because I always seem to run into critters. That's just me, apparently since becoming a mom I'm afraid of critters. But I put my big girl pants on and a headlamp and took the trash cans out (and handled the kids and getting ready for school/work) letting DH sleep in two more hours.
