I could page lots of people to a thread, which they may not like... but then they'd have no recourse other than to shut off receiving all @reply alerts. Or to mark those emails as spam.</p> <p>That second issue is the real problem for us. The @reply feature results in emails that our servers send out... and if those emails are unwanted, they are more likely to be flagged as spam by the recipients.
