@mariap: Congratulations! You might try Oxiclean, although it is kind of harsh and there's a chance it would damage delicate lace.

This guide is useful: http://www.hellobee.com/2014/03/24/how-to-get-any-stain-out-of-baby-clothes/

I am having my first grandchild in June, and would like to find out how to remove yellow and two little black spots from the cotton outfit that my son wore to come home from the hospital. It is a Spanish style embroidered set. My late mother handmade the outfit for him, it is baby blue and has a thin white lace trim around the collar and sleeves; the lace is a little yellow, and there is one black little stain in one of the sleeves, and another one somewhere else. My son is 35 years old, so it has been stored for a long time in Miami, FL. I appreciate any suggestions.
