I was going to expedite the kids' passports because I needed them within 6 weeks, but they told me the turnaround time (at the time) was only 2 weeks, and it was. I got their new passports in less than 2 weeks. So a renewal is probably similar. Definitely ask before you spend the money!</p> <p>And you can ALWAYS call and get it expedited. It was worth the peace of mind! We got it in plenty of time and I wasn't stressing every day over whether it would arrive in time.
