@PawPrints: Thank you so much for directing me to the Fluff love group! They were not around when I started using our diapers and all the research I did initially goes completely against their methods. I thought some of our diapers were just completely gone but I think I have saved them thanks to their instructions! So thank you, thank you! DH is calling me cloth diaper obsessed since I found them. Haha.

I also dried mine the wrong way for a long time. I've replaced one using the Cotton babies tutorial and it took a while, but I'm sure will go faster once I do it 20 times. Just to careful not to cut the PUL and they shouldn't leak.

@skipra: The recommended ideal way to dry them is "hot dog style" - horizontally along a drying rack. Takes up a lot of space though. We have started stuffing them into pillowcases and tying them off with hair elastics and putting them in the dryer that way. It does take longer than a regular dryer cycle, so it would probably be better if we bought some of those mesh bags they sell for drying delicate things. But yeah the Fluff Love FB is great, they have helped us get our washing routine on track after we were using the wrong detergent and having some diaper rash issues. Tons of info.

@MrsRoo: Thank you! I'm glad it was successful!

@PawPrints: Thanks! I never would've thought of checking out a FB group. Maybe they will know how to fix my broken buttons too! And thank you for the drying tip too. We used to live in a condo without outdoor space so they were usually dried in the dryer which ruins the elastic too.

Not yet but I'm a little on the lookout that we might need to. We dried them for about a year by hanging them vertically to drip dry, before learning that the elastics get worn out faster that way. So far we still have a good fit with no leaks though. Hope it goes well for you. If you need more guidance, I'd recommend the FB group Fluff Love & CD Science, they are great for Q&A.

I did it and have not had any leaking! Dd2 has been in the diapers parttime and overnights for 6 months.

Has anyone replaced the elastics in their Freetimes? I have done the 4.0s without problem because you don't need to cut the fabric. I am nervous about cutting the fabric on the Freetimes. Will it cause them to leak? Someone please give me your experience before I attempt this!

For reference, this is a guide on replacing them so I know it SHOULD be OK but I am afraid I will ruin them!
