We went through a little phase like this, where my LO decided 4-5:30 a.m. was party time. I still woke him up at 7 a.m. to start the day and keep our nap schedule. It took about 3-4 days I think to work and we were all grumpy, but it helped!

In the last month, we have gotten way out of sync with baby's sleep and it has gotten worse in the last few days with j waking up at 4, ready for the day. I have tried feeding him and putting him back down, but he doesn't fall asleep until close to 6 when he should be getting up. He'll then sleep until almost 8 and our schedule is totally off for the rest of the day. He has been fighting naps with a passion lately and when we finally do get him to sleep, I hate to wake him up bc he needs the sleep, he's terribly overtired.
Should I just wake him up at the same time every day so we can stay on schedule and he will eventually catch up? Can babies "catch up" on missed sleep?
