I think Curaçao requires a connecting flight, but Yiu can find direct flights to Aruba from many East coast cities. I haven't ever been to Aruba, but we went to neighboring Curaçao on our honeymoon. We stayed at a Hyatt there and chose to have just breakfast included, but it was so huge, we just ate a big brunch everyday and then bought dinner. When we went 4 years ago it was pretty new and very reasonable ($130-150 per night for ocean view with breakfast). Curaçao is an excellent choice of you love snorkeling and/or<br /> Scuba diving. I don't think Aruba's snorkeling is quite as good, but supposedly they have nicer beaches and more resorts than Curacoa. Adults only with awesome food and beautiful. We have been swimming with dolphins, snorkeling and the pyramid tour arranged by the hotel. Amazing! Beautiful resort, all-inclusive, it's far away from the popular areas so the beach is like a private beach.
