@erinbaderin: I’m listening to Emily and Kumail now. They sound so happy and I’m kind of jealous of their joy because I wish I was in a mood like that with my hubby and three kids at home...but, this is going to be our life for so long maybe I’ll get to that space?!

But they’re so cute. And I really enjoy the movie about their meeting and I watch it every once in a while.

I totally thought I would have MORE time than I do, but juggling the kids and work fills up the day quickly! The good thing is I have to say these 2.5 weeks home have absolutely FLOWN by because of that.

I did buy an actual book to read instead of listening to audiobooks that I tend to do during my commute. I've been trying to make time to do yoga at home, but I'm not doing it as much as I'd like. I have been doing barre virtually every Wednesday. I would love to do a puzzle, but I'm not sure I have time for that now...

And I just ordered myself a beginner punch needle kit that I can't wait to get, looks so fun!

I had a phone session with my counselor that was helpful. She made me feel like I’m doing well in a crazy situation.

PSA: many mental health providers are still open and using telehealth platforms instead of in person counseling. The agency I work for is still taking new patients and so is my moms private practice.

The only time I feel ok mentally is when I'm drawing. Which I had 20 minutes for in the last week, lol.

We set up a puzzle on the table and I was surprised by how nice it was to work on it in the little down times instead of reading on my phone. We finished our kids one and are on to a much harder adult one now.

@erinbaderin: we’ve only been in lockdown for a week or so here but just discovered House Party app and had a surprisingly social and hilarious Saturday night! Gave me lots of laughs and a nice reprieve from watching the news 😄

Good post topic!

I'm looking for some fun-but-intelligent games to play on my phone - I resurrected Words With Friends and Text Twister, but would love to hear about others (or would love to hear from anyone who wants to play WWF, haha :))

For shows, DH and I just finished watching Money Heist on Netflix. It's a Spanish series action dubbed in English - exciting, but not really violent or explicit, and we both liked it (which is a tall order that I imagine lots of couples struggle with). Ozark just posted a new season, so we'll be going back to that. I'm trying to convince him to re-watch Breaking Bad or the Wire! Don't know about anyone else, but we find it hard to find too many shows we both enjoy (he's got zero interest in things like This is Us or American Housewife/Good Girls).

Spinoff from my last post, what are you doing for yourself? Books, games, wine, podcasts?

With no commute I have no more podcast time but I’ve been making time for Staying In with Emily and Kumail. I’ve been making an effort to go for a walk after the kids are in bed, and listening to this, and I’m really loving it.

I’ve also been reading the new Oral History of the Office, and loving it.
