Sometimes the best thing for finding a job is networking! I know my university has a career website where alums can sign up to be listed with their contact info and job title so they can be resources for other alums. When I was looking for jobs, I reached out to people in the jobs that interested me to get advice. And eventually, a fellow grad from my university helped get me a job by passing on my resume. I would just have a resume with your college info, contact, skills, etc.</p> <p>While I was in college, I started working at a wedding venue in the catering department. So it might be another avenue for you to try in terms of applying to places. It focuses less on timelines but more on overall experiences. Then - when you are in the first round you can just explain you took a break to raise your family.
