It may have nothing to do with the bottle. My LO didn't have any bottles and she still freaked out when my milk came in. It was almost like she was shocked that milk was coming out of there. We had to take away the bottle completely for a while. So syringe feeding, then let lo suck on my pinkie finger, then try to put to breast. Those feeding did take a long time, but it was worth it. And of course pumping for every feeding he didn't latch. It should be a quicker fix for you since she is so young! She went back to nursing again pretty much right away. I would also try hand expressing first to get the milk flowing. Is your milk coming out really fast? Today my milk finally came in and she just had a freak out session where she was refusing the breast. I'm hoping it's a one time thing but I'm afraid it's a bottle preference. </p> <p>It's my first day of milk coming in so I'm also afraid of not establishing a good supply. For now my plan is to start with the bottle then move to the breast and pump afterwards. </p> <p>Any other tips if it is a bottle preference? </p>
