At 6 -7 weeks there is nothing to worry about. I was 9 weeks so I'm a little concerned but hoping for the best and my midwife does not seem too concerned. I saw my OB at 7 weeks, and there was some bleeding visible on the ultrasound, so he put me on progesterone pessaries, and the spotting had gone within 2 days. Perhaps it wasn't enough to warrant an Anti-D shot? Or maybe because I had the shot within the last 6 months it wasn't needed? I had a tiny tiny red dot when I wiped last week. I went in for an ultrasound and exam and everything checked out fine. I'm hoping it's irriatation from the progesterone applicator. I have a history of recurrent pregnancy loss so I kind of panicked and held off on the shot because I'm totally paranoid about doing anything in my first trimester with my history. Now I'm nervous, regretting it, and feeling like an idiot. I can still go in and get one tomorrow. I called the manufacturer and they said women have benefited from it up to two weeks after about 50% of the time. My midwife said I was at a very very low risk because of how little it was and the exam checked out okay. I had spotting early in this pregnancy (April) but he didn't give me a RH shot. I had one in December though after my miscarriage. My two boys are perfectly healthy, and I'm 10 weeks 5 days with my fourth pregnancy and so far so good! I only have one kid who was also RH-, all the rest I had to get the shot after they were born, as well as 28 weeks. Then again at the normal time (28ish weeks). And then AGAIN after birth. No negative side effects except that it hurts, like @Anya: said!
