@Rosie Girl: Well, when I was a child I was severely lactose intolerant and after having some dairy, I would have diarhea. Maybe your LO has a dairy sensitivity? I would cut out dairy for a few days and see what happens. Then reintroduce some dairy and if there is a change, then for sure see a doctor to confirm.

@Rubies: Thank you!!!! Oh no, I have been worried about a milk allergy. DD doesn't swell or get hives or anything though. She would just get runny poos within 30 minutes of having the rice cereal. Does that sound right too?

@Rosie Girl: Hihi! My LO ended up developing a daily allergy at around 7 months. In normal rice cereal the second ingredient is "skim milk powder" and after the second bite, her face pretty much doubled in size. Finally at 9 months, we went and had an allergy test done and yup, dairy allergy (no milk or cheese or yogurt). LO can have eggs and soy yogurt, though.
:(

@Rosie Girl: Not sure, maybe write a message on her wall to ask? I found this link and she only says milk allergy -

I think @Rubies posted about this? There's some dairy in the rice cereal and it turned about that her DD is allergic to dairy.

DD has had a really hard time with eating. She eats and poops instantly. Runny too. It goes through her so fast the acid from her stomach has been burning her bottom. We tried switching to soy formula and stopping all foods and re-introducing them. None of this helped, so I decided the switch from rice cereal to oatmeal cereal. Tada! No more problem!!!!

Has anyone else had an issue with this? Does anyone's LO has a rice cereal allergy also? Are there other foods that affect them?

No one I have talked to seems to have ever heard of this, so anything is helpful!
