My son loves it, and I always made it with a fruit. Basically it was just to get LO used to the idea of eating. Cereal was easiest. But she didn't really care if we did cereals at all.<br /> LO didn't particularly care for rice cereal or oatmeal. He just wanted bananas all the time. He suggested oatmeal if we wanted to go with cereal, but preferably banana. Liv HATES the texture of that and purees though, so we went BLW instead. But occasionally she will eat a few bites of super thick oatmeal.</p> <p>Plus its just kind of a filler and empty carbs.
