I guess I would do option 2 UNLESS an all-in-one would fit better. I've heard the my ride is very bulky rear facing, so if it's too big for your car, then I'd do option 1!

I was planning to use the infant seat with LO2 until the fall, if possible, when she'll likely outgrow it. However, it's a pain in the neck. So I'm considering moving her into a convertible this summer (as opposed to just leaving the infant seat in the car and taking her in and out, which I'll do til I make a decision!).

Option 1 - leave my forward-facing 2.5 year old in her graco my ride 65, til she outgrows it. then use the graco (new) high back booster we already have (I had for a girl I nannied, and then didn't need it). buy LO2 an all-in-1, such as the graco milestone or 4ever.

Option 2 - buy LO1 an Argos or Nautilus so she can be forward facing in a harness until she's ready to move to the high back booster in the same seat. Give LO2 the graco my ride. Eventually buy LO2 a new HBB way down the line.

*graco myride was purchased new this past july. so it should last for 6 more years, I believe?
*the HBB was also bought at the same time, and I believe it has a 7 year or 10 year expiration. I can't remember.
