My husband has always been against training wheels and the balance bikes are supposed to help a child learn to ride a 2-wheeler without ever needing training wheels. Right now it's just a glorified stroller, but it steps up in stages and eventually becomes a regular trike, so we'll get a lot of use out of it. It could be used as a push toy or transformed into a riding toy. DD has always liked it. Anyone have a favorite? I feel like I'm not even sure which is what. </p>
