I tried at 2 weeks with LO and was discouraged I couldn't get her situated in a way I felt secure with. Then around 4 months I tried again and holy cow it was sooo comfy. I started wearing her on my hip and she loves getting to look out/around when we're out and about. She's 6mo now and 17ish lbs (guessing?) and she feels like nothing when I'm wearing her. I LOVE slings from Sleeping Baby Productions. I won't use anything else :). I think most of your issues would probably be solved with practice. I would watch lots of videos to get tips. My favorite tip actually helps the neck support problem. I also always had a little trouble with neck support - feeling like I needed to support with a hand. which might just have been over-thinking it.</p> <p>I want to love the ring sling because it's less cumbersome, cooler, etc. Mine from #1 is hot pink so I'm pretty sure I'm buying a new one for little brother.
