I was never a big wrapper as well, but I really didn't like the k'tan so I used a boba wrap during those newborn days. It was easy, stretchy, cozy!

@MsMini: I got a soft floppy wool one from a buy/sell/trade group on Facebook. I also ordered a sturdier linen/cotton one from there for toddler ages- the linen one is a Sakura bloom.

@MsMini: @Silva: Any recommendations? I have spent my budget already, so I don't want to break the bank.

I haven’t used a k’tan but I LOVE my ring slings. I use them more than anything, even up until toddler age.

I hated my k'tan and never used it. I LOVE ring slings. They are very comfortable in newborn days and as they get older they are the best thing for quick up and downs. I still put my 2 year old, almost 30lb son in ours for quick ups.

I love my k'tan and still wear E in it at 8.5 months for short things or when she needs to be snuggled and love the lilliebaby for longer or more structured needs

I had a K’Tan with LO1 and honestly didn’t like it at all. I ended up selling it before LO2 was born.

With LO2 I used both a wrap (Happy Baby wrap, like a Solly wrap) and a ring sling. For me the wrap was the easiest. I was really intimidated by it before I had him, but I felt it was the easiest one to do by myself and get a nice, secure hold. Now that he too big for the wrap, I exclusively use my Ergo. I still have the sling, but I haven’t used it in months.

Find a used one of each. You likely can get both for under 100 and then you can just decide which you like better once baby is here ☺

If you had to pick one....I have a Lilliebaby that I am very excited to use for outdoors and once DD is bigger (she's still cooking :silly: ), but I would love something that I could just wear around the house and for early days. I am NOT a wrapping kind of mama, so I would prefer a ring sling or K'tan. Which would you recommend?
