It's probaby bloat. It should go down in a couple weeks.

I did have to take mine off at 24 weeks and I'm still ringless from residual swelling in my joints 4 months postpartum. :( I was VERY, VERY swollen though.

We're in North Carolina and its been super hot recently. I'm hoping that's it. I'll give it a rest for a week or so and see how they do. And keep drinking lots of water!

I think its temporary because even at 29+w mine still fit fine. At the end of the day they are snug but even that just started probably 2 weeks ago.
It must be the heat....where do you live?

Probably just temporary bloating... I live in FL like @artbee and the temps have skyrocketed in the past week and I can tell a difference in the tightness of my rings now at 21 weeks in July in Florida!

I took my rings off pretty early because I was pregnant in Florida in summer so I was terrified of bloating. I wore my wedding band around my neck instead.

I think it is probably temporary bloating. My ring was tight around that time but the bloating went away. I was able to wear them up to week 36 or 37!

I am almost six weeks, and already it's a struggle to get my rings off. Is this just temporary bloating? Summer heat? I hope it goes away; I really don't want to be wedding ring-less for nine months.
