I think the advice to feed your baby bland things is SUCH a bummer. I mean, I guess it's true - babies like what they have. My daughter does reject bland food. I'm fairly strict about not putting cheese on veggies, not always mixing fruit with yogurt, basically not ruining her taste for fruits and veggies. But spice! Flavor! They really can choke on anything so its a tough call. </p> <p>The only thing that would concern me is getting her addicted to crackers at a young age. My LO is obsessed with gold fish because of this! She is getting finger foods at home so I'm not opposed to them. The teacher mentioned Ritz crackers are something they keep on hand to feed the babes. </p> <p>What do you think? Ritz crackers okay for an 8 month old (obviously broken into pieces)? Or should we stick to puffs and baby crackers? </p>
