Our lifesaver was driving through the night. LO slept the entire way. Though, she's 8 months old. We have traveled quite a bit with our LO and it was MUCH easier when he was a little guy. Now that he's 7 months old he's still okay to travel with but he doesn't nap for as long as he used to. I'm in Boston and my cousin is getting married in NC. DH can't go but I really want to. My cousins that live in NC drive up twice a year to see us. H will have had her 8 week shots by then, but there are no direct flights from here so we'd have to layover in Atlanta- which I hate when I travel alone, much less with a small baby! So we're thinking of driving it- 8.5 hours...But splitting it in half and stopping at a hotel for the night.</p> <p>Is this plan crazy?</p> <p>It'd be nice if I could lean a boob over the carseat the whole way...I'd be a lot more confident things will go smoothly, lol </p>
