Mini shoez for sure, the ones we had were so much easier to get on (we had both styles) and fit his feet a lot better.

My DS had mini shoez starting around 10 months. He wore them in the house on our hardwood floors (it was fall/winter so I didn't want him barefoot). I loved them and paid more like $25 or so.

@lawbee11: We only have the one pair of Robeez soft soles. Actually, just realized we also had a pair of the mini shoes boots but they never stayed on her feet anyway. Inside she is always barefoot or in socks.

@Foodnerd81: I haven't seen the soft soles in person so I'm not sure. The mini shoez are comparable to SKR smaller. Not sure if you have any of those. I assumed the soft soles were meant to be worn at home/indoors and the mini shoez outdoors (but I could be totally wrong). M still fits in her size 2 Freshly Picked moccs!

@lawbee11: I was looking at those exact ones! Do you know how much thicker they are than the suede ones? I'm thinking of getting them a couple of sizes up-- these short fat feet have to grow at some point. I measured her and it looks like she is still a size 2! Her feet are so short and fat.

@Foodnerd81: I have a pair of these for M. They are the mini shoez. She hasn't worn them yet because they're still a little big. I got them off Baby Steals for $14.99.

@Foodnerd81: Yes. The suede bottom kind. They get dirty, but oh well. I never got her those grippy kinds.

@shopaholic: I guess the mini shoes have more grippy bottoms, not the smooth suede? Did your Lo wear the suede bottom ones outside like walking in the playground?

I've never really heard of Mini Shoez? Any soft-soled shoe like Robeez style should be pretty good. I started putting her in Robeez at 6 months, only when going out. Always barefoot at home while learning to stand/cruise/walk. Started putting her in SKR Smallers (as well) when she was standing and starting to cruise.

Which is better when? Robeez are on sale at a local children's store so I want to get a pair for the summer. We currently have one hand me down pair of the soft soles in 6-12 months, which still are a little big.

When we are home, she is barefoot. She has started pulling up to stand and has cruised a tiny bit, but I'm sure will be doing more soon. She's definitely not walking yet, but hopefully will while still fitting into these shoes.

So my question is, when do you want the soft soles, and when to you want the mini shoes (shoez)? Also, is $19 for the mini shoez a good deal? Seems like it is...
