This is why I was thinking she'd sleep overnight in the bassinet and nap in the RnP. But then people are saying they didn't feel comfortable with their LOs sleeping in the bassinet...sigh! I have the basic one from Target and use it a lot. It was such a lifesaver. M slept in it for all nights and naps for the first 5 months. First we had it next to our bed and then moved it to the nursery. I loved being able to rock her to sleep in it and then just tiptoe away. I was afraid she would get smooshed at the edge of the mattress and the sides of the bassinet aren't breathable. We bought a PacknPlay for sleeping and naps AND had an UBV bassinet AND a bouncer seat, and LO refused to sleep in any of them! We ended up with a Rock N Play and she still only sleep in it at almost 4 months. My baby sleeps great in it but she probably would sleep in the bassinet from the UB too. I figured a stand for the bassinet cost the same as the RnP so I use that. I'm also planning on registering for a bouncer instead of a swing because of space concerns. I was going to register for the rock n play as well, but am wondering if we'll use it. Is it better for daytime naps than the bassinet (i realize there's a chance she'll hate the bassinet)? i do like that it's portable and i can bring it from room to room easily.</p> <p>I'm also struggling with which rock n play - we're registering on amazon and there are so many! i can't see whether there's a big difference between the "deluxe" and the regular one, and then there's one that is deluxe and vibrates, and then i find myself wondering if a bouncer is really necessary...sigh! </p> <p>SO...which rock n play do you have? and do you like it? do you wish you'd gotten something else?</p> <p>(ETA i was going to do a poll but realized it was 2 different questions so decided not to...but i can't seem to delete the poll section of the post!) </p>
