If you wanted another option that would last a long time, maybe check out the Infant-to-Toddler Rocker. I have that one and my DD loves it. She slept in it all the time for naps as a newborn and then as she grew, she loved kicking her legs to rock the chair and make the little toys on the bar move. My LO doesn't use the bouncer THAT much but it does come in handy. I usually leave it in my room so she can watch me get ready for the day in it. It's also handy when we are eating at table, she can sit in it and watch us. She has never slept in it though, even as a tiny baby. She's almost 4 months and I can see her using the bouncer for a couple more months. Also it was great because it's the perfect height for a toddler to rock and look at the baby in the face! My lo lived in his bouncer for the first 2 months but we used a pnp or bed for night sleep. Since this is our last kid, I'm trying to buy the minimal gear, if possible. </p>
