Being able to lean back when she wants to snuggle against my chest feels like it’s made a difference at bed time even if I can’t know for sure. Its a dream. I did not get the matching gliding ottoman because I didn't think I needed it. This glider is now in my room since my big girl's room got changed up and I don't think I have any intention of getting rid of it soon. </p> <p>Second baby I got a Baby appleseed crosby glider from Buy Buy Baby. The back height is good, but chair is overall crap. you get what you pay for. you can eventually feel the wood in the arm rest, so you will eventually need to use a pillow under your arm. No big deal though. But with a gliding ottoman, this chair eventually became my favorite. The back height of the chair was always my main concern because my husband and I are both tall. </p> <p>Good luck!!
