It was a gift, given when LO was born, and she started using it when she was around 12 months. She's 18 months now and she loves it! A warning though, ours has 4 buttons that each play a different song, and they are super annoying and really low quality recordings that drive you nuts. Of course my LO likes to push them over and over again. So our rocker lives at grandpa's house. I think she'll use it more as she gets older...but part of me wishes I'd gotten one of the cheap plastic ones they have at school because she rides like a wild child on those. She treats ours more like a stuffed animal you happen to be able to get on. She was then really interested in it, but also scared of the sounds and movements. But once she realized it wouldn't hurt her, she was willing to ride it and pet it.
