Without action we will lose the right to contraception and so many LGBTQ+ rights. Clarence Thomas didn’t mention overturning interracial marriage, but other politicians have and it’s based on the same legal precedent. </p> <p>If you are enraged like I am and want resources for action, here is a good compilation of local abortion funds: bit.ly/RoeWYCD</p> <p>@emilyinyourphone has really good scripts for calling your representatives to take action that way (and that is useful whether your state allows abortion or not!)</p> <p>And I live in a blue state that is committed to the right to abortion, so there is a push to put it into the state constitution to make it harder to undo. I will be pressuring my local reps to do that. We can’t sit back and wait to see what happens. We know what will happen. And we have to be in it for the long haul. There are no quick solutions here unfortunately. </p> <p>Stepping off my soapbox now.
