We use a zippidee too, she rolls around and falls asleep. We do have to adjust her sometimes at night because she wedges herself up against the side of the crib and wakes up, I'm hoping she'll learn to fix it herself eventually. It almost seems like she can army crawl in the crib but not out of it.

@Meridian: Nope, its perfectly OK to roll in it. But it gives them a little bit of resistance to feel secure. It was magical for us once we had to stop swaddling (the Merlin was not though).

@Meridian: from what i understand, it doesn't prevent rolling, but since it encloses both the arms and legs, it might give a little more weight and coziness that your LO is used to from the merlin suit (not exactly the same, of course, but sleep sacks don't have any covering on the arms).

@edelweiss: @Mrs.Someone: isn't the zipadeezip similar to a sleep sack? Would it prevent rolling?

how about trying the zipadeezip? it seems like a good transition piece between a merlin suit and a sleepsack.

LO just learned to roll last week... he was previously sleeping in a Merlin suit, but it's been getting warmer here so we tried switching him to a sleep sack last night. Which resulted in him rolling all around his crib, crying, and not sleeping. How did your LO (and you!!) handle this transition??
