My LO was always a terrible sleeper, so it was hard for her sleep to be any worse.

We did go throw a period of her standing and then screaming, like she didn't know how to sit down. But after a couple of days of going back in to lay her down (only to have her pop back up into a standing position), I just let her cry and figure out how to get down by herself, which she did....eventually.

At first, she would kind of just fall over to one side from a standing position--then she figured out how to sit down and then lay down.

She still wears a sleep sack at 18 months because our house is cold, but she walkes all over the crib in her sleep sack, haha.

@BabyTsMom: Yeah, L's kind of a rare case. K is 4 months old, so we're just about to start all those fun times again, and I'm not expecting her to be so easy... haha

@BabyTsMom: Oh wait, did I read it wrong? Are you asking about all milestones in general, or just how they affect sleep and the crib?

L was such a good baby...
When she started rolling in her swaddle I was so stressed about swaddle weaning - no big deal, she didn't even notice. She went from swaddled on her back to unswaddled on her stomach with zero set back.
She was never a crazy roller, only got her foot stuck in the slats twice.
She never tried to climb out of the crib or any crazy shenanigans, but we moved her out around 14 or 15 months to a floor bed.

So, in short, none of her physical milestones affected her sleep :)

Please share your experiences with any or all of the above-mentioned milestones. The advice is all across the board: turn LO over/help LO sit/etc every single time, only help once or it becomes a game, don't help at all, blah blah.

What did you guys do? If your LO was previously a pretty good sleeper, was it a major setback? And how long was the disruption? If your LO was not a great sleeper to begin with, did you just sleep train at the same time? What milestone was the worst?
