We have this one from Old Navy, and it has snaps in the crotch like a onesie. The sizes go up to 5T.

I don't put a lot of rompers on my LO anymore who is almost 4. I'm trying to get her independent in the washroom before starting school in the fall and she always needs my help with them. It's too bad though, because they're so cute!

@catlady: DH's single friends refers to them as "Onesies" (on adults) and thinks he is just so hilarious.

@youboots: @PinkElephant: I feel like I should have started a whole different thread about women's rompers lol.

@PinkElephant: Yeah, DD is in preschool all day too, and still has occasional accidents with just pants. I'm thinking no rompers for her. Womp womp. I hate whoever designs these ridiculously cute impractical clothes.

@youboots: hahaha I myself own several rompers and am far too chicken to try to pull it to the side, since if I'm wearing a romper I'm usually drinking. However, a friend of mine claims she is an absolute champ at this. :silly: my girls pee on their shoes if they try to go in the grass on a hike, so...not recommended for kids!

@catlady: it's so hard b/c there are so many adorable ones, but I stopped putting my 5 and 3 year old in rompers when they potty trained. They need to be able to use the bathrooms (mostly) by themselves at school, and sometimes wait til the last minute. I was considering denim shortalls for the five year old since they can kind of just slide off, but she declared them "boyish" anyway. If you're always with your DD during the day, and she gives you good warning about needing the potty, you might be ok for one more summer!

@catlady: haaaaaa I have like 6 pairs. I like them better than short dresses. Is my millennial showing?

TBH sometimes you can pull the middle to the side if the romper is loose enough and you have good aim but I would not recommend for a 3 year old. 😂 I barely recommend it for me.

Yup. Just like rompers for adults. If there is one you love you could have snaps added for quick access.

I plan on only using them for photo shoots once DD is trained.

J&J runs huge in case she could still fit in 18-24

I feel kind of dumb asking this but...how do rompers work on a potty trained kid? Do they need to basically take their whole outfit off to use the bathroom?

I'd love to get some for my 3 year old but I'm not sure they are the best idea for her.
