I CD and use a coach diaper bag, and it has always had enough room (I do the rolling thing as well). I carry 2 pocket diapers, wet bag, small cloth wipe pouch, A&A blanket, nursing cover I even add a second change of clothes, 2 swim diapers, a rash guard and a towel for him for when we go swimming.

JuJuBe's Be All or Be Prepared is our preference for carrying cloth diapers and all of the other stuff.

I'm queen of over packing. DH always hates that we have such a heavy diaper bag.... but he doesn't complain when I always have everything we need no matter what!

When LO was little we used the 31 utility tote. I loved it because there were lots of pockets on the outside so things were easy access and I could find things quickly. Now that LO is older I don't have to carry as many diapers with me, I don't need burp clothes or receiving blankets, and my load is a lot lighter.

I have a JJ Cole swag bag and I can easily carry CDs with me. I normally have:

3 bottles
formula dispenser
2-3 cloth dipes
2 emergency sposies
wipe case
wet bag
burp cloth/bib
change of clothes
wallet
keys
phone
glasses case

That's not even including the random sutff that gets shoved in the pockets like chapstick, hand sanitizer, gum, teething tablets/gel, etc. lol

That's not a lot at all! I used to carry a lot of stuff but realized I didn't use half of it.

I'd suggest keeping your stuff out of the diaper bag and using a small separate crossbody bag. This way, if you have to leave your diaper bag, you don't have to dig your stuff out of it.

I totally agree with the overpacking. This, believe it or not, is an edited list-- those first few weeks, I needed a Sherpa to help with all the gear. :)

I agree with rolling everything up. I have the Skip Hop Via which is smaller than the Bento, but it works well for us. Think about how you really use stuff. I just realized that I don't need more that 3 diapers (2 AIOs and 1 disposable...takes less space and I never use the sposie), cloth wipes + tiny spray bottle of water (less space than a wipes case), 1 wetbag, A&A blanket (doubles as nursing cover), 1 burp cloth, a change of clothes for LO (something that packs smaller than what she actually wears out), and my personal items. You may use everything that you listed, but I found that I was way overpacked for our normal, everyday outings.

My tip is to roll your stuff up so when you look in you can see the tip of all the rolls and access things without unpacking, as nothing will be 'under' anything else.

I've finally made the transition to cloth, after 6 weeks in disposables. My latest conundrum? Fitting everything I need in the diaper bag. I currently have the skip hop bento bag, and I find myself stuffing it with everything I need. Any suggestions?

I'd like to be able to fit in a bag ( and be able to easily access, without unpacking the whole darn thing!):

4 AIOs
Wipes container
Wet bag
Nursing cover
Bottle & formula tupperware container
Burp cloths
Change of clothes for LO
Small wallet, car keys, cellphone (maybe an exterior pocket for this)

Is this diaper bag a mystical unicorn? Anyone have something that you think would work (and is fairly reasonable in price)?

Thanks!
