LO had it twice - once at 4 months and once at 12 months. I found that once the fever was gone, she was pretty much happy again (the rash didn't bother her). But the 3 days of fever that she had were the fussiest and crankiest ever!

Aw I'm sorry! For DS it lasted at least a week. For DD she bounced right back after the rash appeared. You should be at the tail end of it!

Seems like a lot of our LOs had roseola this week! I can't exactly remember with DD (she was 15 months at the time) but I know it was at least a week. DS just got it last week (he's 14 months) and it lasted 4 days for him.

Once the rash appeared, I want to say it took about 2-3 days to get back to himself. My daughter had it earlier and it didn't seem so bad with her.

I'm sorry M isn't feeling well. My LO had roseola a couple weeks ago. She started to feel warm Wednesday afternoon and had a fever that night. Friday was the first time she actually started acting sick. Up until then, even with the fever, she was her normal self. We took her her to our ped that afternoon and she told us it was probably roseola. Saturday, the rash started and E was a little cranky and didn't have much of an appetite. Sunday, she had more rash but was starting to be back to herself. By Monday she was completely fine and back to normal. I think we were lucky it was only a mild case. I hope M feels better soon.

Oh, so it was roseola? Aww, poor babe. Our son had the really high fever from this past Sun to Tues, but we didn't spot a rash, so I don't know if that's what he had. Even without it, he's only today started being less clingy. I talked to some friends who's kids had roseola and they said it was around a week total; maybe 10 days at the most? If the rash is gone, it's probably almost over!

Don't know how old your lady is, but our son is just about due for a wonder week. Could that be part of it for her and its coinciding with her illness? I read that for some wonder weeks, babies are more likely to get sick during that time.

M has roseola. She had a fever last Sunday that lasted till Wednesday, then the rash appeared. Today the rash is mostly gone but she is still miserable. If she isn't napping, she wants to be held. When she's being held, she will get cranky. She will sit in her high chair, happily eat banana and 3 minutes in start screaming as if she is in pain.

Did your lo go through this? How long did it take to work through it? I feel so bad for her and want my happy baby back again. :-(
