@bienlivingdesign: that is so cute about her funny face!
I'm sure she will be fine :). My LO went through a phase (still kind of doing it) where she puts anything new in her mouth...she has found dust bunnies or a random particle of food off of another baby at storytime and put it all in her mouth. My friend thought she had poisoned her baby when she gave him an old bottle not knowing how long it had been out. Babies are so resilient :)

It doesn't sound like it was rotted through too bad, like brown/black throughout, so I wouldn't worry. I bought 3 avocados the other day and every single one of them was brown/black inside! Must be a bad time for them or something.

I think it will be fine. An avocado gone bad, I think, is not terrifyingly awful. Wait for LO's next poop or watch her behaviour for the rest of the day but I'm pretty confident she'll be fine!

I was feeding H avocado just now. It had a brown spot on it that I cut around, but I didn't taste it (figured it was fine). She had a funny look on her face while eating, but she's new to eating & always has funny looks on her face! I had a taste of it when I was cleaning off my finger and it was bad! I stopped feeding her and now I'm worried. Do you think it's okay that she ate part of a rotten avocado?
