I still had morning sickness regularly until 17 weeks, and threw up on Monday mornings until 22 weeks or so.

I started feeling better at around 16 weeks but I still get nauseous easily/throw up sometimes. Sorry you're having a tough time! But good that your LO thinks throwing up is entertaining ;)

Thanks everyone! I jinxed myself by saying it only happens in the afternoon and evening...I peeled a banana for LO this morning and the smell was too much. I ran and threw up in the kitchen trash can. :-( LO thought it was hilarious!

My nausea got better, though I still throw up at least once a week at 20 weeks. For me, my second trimester has been better than the first, but definitely not "golden." I think it's more because the giant belly is starting to make me uncomfortable: eating, sleeping, sitting, picking things up are all more difficult which I was not anticipating until the third trimester. I guess I should have thought about the effects of the extra belly growth. Sometimes I'm terrified when I think of how uncomfortable I'll be in another couple of months.

I was JUST GOING TO POST THIS EXACT SAME THREAD!!! Since hitting 13 weeks things have totally gone downhill - I've had a debilitating headache for 4 days, I'm having horrible round ligament pain, gas, pressure, fatigue, backache, everything. I haven't thrown up but generally feel worse this week than I ever did in the first tri.

I hope you feel better soon! A friend of mine is 20 weeks and still throwing up. She didn't feel better until about 6 months in with her first pregnancy, and this second one is looking the same way. Zofran doesn't even help her anymore :(

Yes... My second trimester was like the first, only worse (nausea, fatigue, everything). I only felt better for about a month when I was 6 months.

I didn't have morning sickness but my migraines were pretty awful still until halfway through my second trimester .... so my hormones were obviously still going nuts. After that things were pretty good though.

I had a terrible first and second trimester! Throwing up every day, sciatica (almost fell down the stairs because my leg gave out), etc. Everyone talked about how great it would be, and it never really was. I think I noticed it getting better when I was 6 months or so..so toward the end. I can check my pregnancy journal if you're REALLY curious! hahah!

I had more actual throwing up (of bile) in my 2nd trimester, though I was more nauseous and had more food aversions in 1st tri. Also had stomach aches all the time in my sleep in 2nd tri, until I told the OB. She put me on Prevacid for acid and it's helped TREMENDOUSLY since I've been on it!

Energy-wise 1st tri was like I would pass out every day at 2 or 3pm. 2nd tri, I've started getting really sleepy or tired around 5pm and want to go to bed by 10pm! That's definitely different!

I felt nauseous a few times during my first trimester but it wasn't bad at all. Things have definitely gone downhill since I hit 13 weeks...I throw up 2-3 times a day, I'm nauseous, I don't have a lot of energy and I feel like my sense of balance is off. All of this stuff only happens in the afternoon or early evening...so strange.

I'm going to be 17 weeks in a few days...maybe this will fade away and I'll get my golden trimester?!

Did you have a rough second trimester? Did it get better?
