I had it for a couple of months a while back. It was no fun and almost felt like a charlie horse in my side. Getting out of bed almost always brought it on. But it's really common and you should grow out of it.

I always have the pain on my right side. Sometimes when I'm walking I have to hold the spot to make it feel better. I've found that massaging the area helps a lot. And stretching--since I've been doing prenatal yoga the pain has lessened.

I get these if I get up too quickly from a lying position, or if I toss and turn too quickly. The only way to prevent them is to just move slowly, but I forget! It feels like a pulled muscle, ugh!

I had it more like around a month ago than now. But, once in a while I get a burning sensation in my groin area (also round ligament pain). I just make sure to drink lots of water - I don't think there's any real way to prevent it though - just growing pains!

Every once in a while, I get these pains pretty badly. My OB and the midwife suggested making sure I'm drinking enough (I am) and if it continues, just try to relax, lay down or prop up my feet for a while. It always seems to come on after twisting or moving suddenly so, not doing that is a good idea, too....

Has anyone else experienced this during their pregnancy?
