For both my kids, they were big cat-nappers in the beginning. It wasn't until they were firmly on two naps that it became more predictable, and that wasn't until 6-9 months!

When do naps become more regular. I still feel like me 11 week old naps are all over the place... Is it something that typically happens naturally, or is it something that has to be trained?

He is in daycare 5 days a week and typically takes 3 naps there, and then another nap when he gets home, but nothing is the same every day...
