It is frustrating when it's not your home country and you don't know the ins and outs of the system and you don't have a good referral. Another thing you can try is calling the kantonspital and see if they have a recommendation for you. I would also be tempted to get a second opinion at home, but I would worry about how the results/diagnosis would translate (not literally, but if anyone would be accepting of them, Swiss are funny people like that).</p> <p>Have you thought about perhaps joining an expat club?
