<description>&#60;p&#62;@Mrs. Oatmeal:  I had no idea what a big deal it is! I mean if I get this, it is really really really bad for baby.  It makes me stressed to think about the birth defects that could happen, and then I get angry thinking about someone hurting my baby, who is completely helpless.&#60;br /&#62;
@Boopers:  I hope they find the other 70 people who have been exposed and that they don't have it.... Especially since it doesn't always show symptoms in adults.

<description>&#60;p&#62;So, I found out with this pregnancy that I'm no longer immune to rubella.  No big deal, I'll get the vaccine when baby is here.  Well, there is a recorded case of rubella in the city that I live in...... awesome.  I guess we'll see what my OB/GYN has to say about this at my next appointment.  Never thought I would rely so heavily on herd immunity.  Sure takes my opinions about vaccines to a whole new level.
