My husband has been against putting her in her own room in her crib but tonight I wanted to be able to go out to the garage and help him on a car and our monitor only works with her crib! SO, tonight is the night! I'm excited and sad all in one! I liked having the baby close to me, and it made me feel like she was always safe. She and dh are light sleepers so they'd hear each other and wake up. Our LO is 5 months old and has been sleeping through the night since 2.5 months but I still dread the thought of moving her to her own room. I love having her next to me (in her PnP bassinet) and she's a quiet sleeper so she doesn't disturb either one of us. We're traveling for the next two months so she'll be sharing a room with us through that time, but then we'll really need to look at her being in her own room.
