I've cried watching the news. There was a story with video footage of a nanny on a nannycam harrassing a 10-month-old, and I couldn't even watch the video. I had to change it immediately... These things affect me so much more now that I'm a mum. We had a story on the news last night about a four year old walking through a park with her mum when a large branch of an old tree snapped off and fell on them. It killed the little girl and paralysed the mum from the waist down. The funeral was yesterday and I was sobbing my eyes out. DH made me turn the television off but it still haunted me all night,</p> <p>Now that I know what it's like to love a child, I can't bear the thought of anything every happening to one of my kids. There is a really tragic story on my local news site about a brother and sister. I can't stop thinking about it and I feel sick imagining them and what their family must be going through. So crazy tragic. It's literally blowing my mind. </p>
