When I was pregnant, I said I could not medically sit that long without breaks. She's not a SAHM, but she is a nanny full time for my niece. She told them both parents work and she's the only one available to watch their 6 month old. The latter wouldn't help you though, I'm guessing. I'll be about 9 mos pregnant and I have a 2-year-old. I called and talked to the clerk and she asked me if I have a sitter or something. That's crazy, right? I mean maybe if I had family here, but am I really expected to hire a babysitter for jury duty? My son has NEVER stayed with a babysitter! Is my husband supposed to take off of work to watch him? She said she would have the senior clerk call me back, so hopefully I'll be excused. I'm just curious if this has happened to anyone else!
