Mine are 21 months and 3.5. My older lo goes to preschool 2 mornings a week. Our typical day looks like:

6 - 7 am: Both kids wake up and snuggle in bed. Some cartoons until DH brings downstairs for breakfast. (I'm dealing with some first trimester exhaustion and nausea so I get the royal treatment and get to sleep in a bit)
8 am - DH leaves for work and I finish getting ready and get both LOs ready.
9 or 10 am - Walk LO to school or go to an activity/play date or just play outside if we don't have anything planned
Noon - Lunch followed by playtime in the house
1-3 PM Read books then naptime
3pm - Snack time and with the pregnancy, a little more TV. Then we either clean up around the house, do laundry or dishes, errands, go for a long walk, to the library, etc. We can hardly ever coordinate afternoon play dates or activities so it just depends on the day.
5pm - Get dinner ready, DH arrives, we all eat together followed by Daddy playtime and I collapse on the couch
7pm - Bath, followed by LO2 going to bed then LO1 goes to bed.

I love the freedom of staying home and being able to do so many fun things with both my guys! I hope the transition is easy for you!

7a-9a: wake, breakfast, get ready, a little play (if there's time)
9a-12p: depending on the day, one or both girls goes to school. if i have one or both girls home, we do an outing/playgroup/activity or go to the gym w/ childcare. if i'm solo, i run errands or workout. usually a snack around 10ish.
12-1p: lunch & clean-up
1-3p: nap/quiet time. i do odd jobs, relax, prep dinner, whatever.
3-5p: snack, clean-up; followed by some sort of free play, library, or gym (if i didn't get to go earlier). One day/week DD1 has gymnastics during this time.
5-6p: dinner prep, eat, & clean-up
6p-8p: play, baths, and bedtime routines

DD2 is in bed most nights around 7, and DD1 is 730-8ish.

@hilsy85: thanks for sharing! yea LO1 goes to school T/TH (the days I am working) only so she will be home with me all day with DS. But I think getting out of the house at least once a day will be good for all of us!

@yin: Thanks! Sounds like a nice routine! I think it'll be easier when DS is on 2 naps, which will prob be in a few months....

@bushelandapeck: wow, good for you about the TV!! DD has already watched an hour this morning...but then we went to park because it is so nice out :) I can't believe your DS still naps! That is awesome. I also think it'll be easier when we are on 1 nap with DS, but even 2 naps would be better than the 3 we have now.

@Foodnerd81: yea DS naps pretty well on the go still at 5 months, thank goodness!

@Mrs. Sunshine: thanks! oh yea library story time sounds like a good idea, I should look into what days/times those are at

@Ree723: thanks! My LO is pretty good about independent play too...but I feel like I need the TV when I'm feeding DS (or she tries to climb all over us!, and when I'm putting him down for a nap). Wow I can't believe your oldest still naps that long and goes to bed at 7:30! Jealous!

My girls are 3.5 yrs and 24 months. DD1 is in preschool M, Tu, and Th from 9:15-12:15.

School days, our schedule looks like this:

8:00 girls wake up, followed by breakfast and getting dressed before running out the door to get to school.
9:15 drop E off at school, I sometimes run errands with C but more often than not go home and do chores, drink coffee, and eat my breakfast whilst she plays. We get some quality 1:1 time here as well.
12:15 pick E up, come home and both girls have lunch
1:00 - 4:00 nap time for both girls
4:00 - 7:30 playtime, dinner, bath, bed

On non-school days, they wake around 8:30/9:00, and we either just hang around the house and play, or go on outings which could be just a trip into town, a visit to an historical site, a trip to the garden centre, or a little country walk. We always try to make sure we're back in time for nap time though!

We go to a playgroup on Wednesday mornings, I sometimes take C to a music class whilst E is at school, and we try to go on one other outing during the week if the weather cooperates (we go out much more frequently during the warmer months). The girls don't watch any tv but they are quite good at independent play so i don't 'need' it per se.

My kids are 2.5 and 10 months. We typically wake up, get DD1 juice, start my coffee and nurse DD2 and cuddle. When my coffee is ready we make/eat breakfast, clean the kitchen/empty the dishwasher. Then I fold one or 2 loads of laundry. DD2 generally takes a nap now. I put away laundry, fix my hair, slap on some make up and get dressed and make the bed. Then I get the girls dressed and we might have a snack. Then we play outside, come in for lunch, girls nap for about 2 hours, they wake up and have a snack, we play/run a quick errand/start dinner. Eat dinner, play, bath, bed. My toddler watches about 4 hours of tv a day and our only consistent outing is library storytime once a week and grocery shopping.

We are very much still figuring this out. My girls are 2.5 years and 2 months. So far we seem to have fallen into a big of a routine- everyone is up around 7:15. Coffee, feed the baby, then she usually will go down for a nap sometime between 8-9. Toddler and I eat breakfast around 8 then she watches tv while I get ready and hopefully the baby naps. Her morning nap tends to be short so when she wakes up we leave for an activity (play date, music class, errands...) Baby naps on the go as needed, in the car seat/ stroller or carrier, depending where we are (thank god she can do this at this point!).

We either eat lunch at our play date or at home. Then nap for the toddler after lunch. When I'm lucky the baby is due for a nap at the same time.

Afternoons a lot of the time we don't get out at all. It's such an effort with the two of them. But if it's not too cold sometimes we go for a walk in the neighborhood with the baby in the carrier. She usually will take a nice cat nap for the evening that way and it tires the toddler out.

Then dinner and bed. We don't do baths every day. Sometimes I bathe them together sometimes separate depending on how dirty they are, my energy level, and when they are each awake.

Toddler watches way more TV than I would like most days. Sometimes it's just half an hour while I get ready but some days it's more like 4 episodes (not all at once, but that's 2 hours total).

I work M/W and DS goes to preschool T/H from 8:30-1pm so I am just with DD during that time. We usually run errands, have play dates, etc. Both kids nap between 1/1:30-3/3:30 usually. After nap we either play at home or go to a friends or to a playplace to get the winter energy out. On Fridays, DS has gymnastics from 11-12pm and we usually play with friends, run errands, go to the gym, or stay at home. If we didn't go out in the morning, we try to after nap. I always have them nap at home and try to get them out at least once per day.

It got a lot easier once DD cut her naps to once per day. Prior to that, I would need to be home in the morning and afternoon for her naps, once they were at regular times.

ETA: as for T.V. time, DS still only watches 15-25 mins in the morning when he wakes up and then sometimes after nap for the same amount of time.

My LOs are almost 5 and 2. We wake up around 7. Kids watch iPad while I make breakfast. Then we eat breakfast together. LO1 gets packed up and ready for school, and we're out the door around 8:30 to get him to school at 8:45. LO2 tags along, and then we come back home to finish up breakfast and play. I try to get some stuff done around the house. Lunch at 11:30. Nap at 12. Wake up LO2 from nap at 1:45 to go pick up big brother. Then we all come back home and play/work on school stuff. Kids have TV time at 5 while I make dinner. We eat together at 6, and DH is home to help for the rest of the evening.

We go outside more often when the weather cooperates. Mornings vary with LO2 depending on the kind of errands I need to run.

That's exciting! Here is our routine. LO1 has school M-Th from 12:20-2:50, and no school Fridays.
M-TH:
LOs wake up around 6:30.
We play at home in the morning, and rarely go out unless it's a necessary errand--not worth the fight before we need to have lunch and go to school.
LO2 naps from 8:30ish-10
LO1 eats breakfast around 8, gets dressed by 10/10:30
LO1 watches a half hour of tv from 10:30-11, while I get lunch ready.
Lunch at 11:15, we leave for school at 12.
While LO1 is at school, I run errands with LO2, or come home and she naps at 12:30.
We pick up LO1 at 2:50 and either go to the library, go grocery shopping, go to the park, or go home and play until dinner (5:30/6). LO2 needs a nap usually around 3/3:30, so she will either nap on the go or in the swing if we are home. LO1 usually watches another half hour of tv while I get dinner ready.
Bath and bed for both kids around 6:30/7.

On fridays/no school days:
Both LOs wake up around 6:30
I try to get out of the house when LO2 wakes up from her nap, so around 10/10:30. We are usually out until 1 or 2--either running errands and going to the park, or going to a museum, or a playspace/playdates--I will often bring lunch with us or we will eat out (pizza, sandwiches, diner, etc). LO2 takes her 2nd nap on the go, either stroller or carrier.
Once we get home, we usually play and I try to get LO1 to play independently while I play near him with LO2. Sometimes we will go out again around 4, if I need to grab something, but usually we are just home because it can be an effort to convince LO1 to get out of the house.

I think once it is warm weather, we will be out a lot more at the parks, sprinklers, etc.

I recently changed my work schedule to part time (24 hours) so I will be staying home with both LO's a few days a week :) I'd love to hear from moms of 2+ kids and your daily routines!
how often do you try to out of house?
does your second nap on the go a lot or do you try to be home for nap time?
be honest- how much TV does your toddler get?
