Usually miscellaneous errands and/or some sort of workout (gym, hiking with the dog, etc). Today I took 2 naps instead :) The 3rd trimester is kicking my butt.

My daughter goes 2 mornings a week, from 915 - 1145am. The school is about a 20 minute drive from our house, so it's a waste of time to come back home. I usually run errands, grocery shop, do things I can't with her (dentist, etc). I wish her school was closer so I could come home and clean or something.

I don't think there is really that much time when they're in preschool, my son's program is 2 hours 45 minutes, for example.

When he goes to full time kinder, he'll be there for about 6 hours...if I am not working, I will probably have to do the housecleaning, laundry, grocery shopping, appointments, etc in that time. I'd love to fit in a work out and maybe volunteer at the school.

Grocery shop, once a week playgroup for my youngest, and just misc. errands. I also meet up with my parents when they are in town. I try to get my youngest out more when the weather is nice. I am going to try running again now that it's not 100+ with 100% humidity here...

@sandy: hahaha. Yes I think we are.

The main thing is DH works at least half the weekends so I try to get my "own" stuff done while T is at school. Last week that meant a haircut.

Errands, chores, the gym. My youngest doesn't go every day and I have to get her by 11:30 so it's not a lot of time.

@winniebee: are we living dual lives ;) . My LO goes 3x a week but only from 9-12...but her school is a 5 minute drive so I'm able to get a lot done. I have doc appointments 2x a week right now but they're spread out so I fit one in while she's at school and have my parents or inlaws watch her the other time. I've been doing a bunch of CLE classes too - usually teleconferences that are about 90 minutes (I only have one all day class to attend before baby arrives). I also do my grocery shopping and costco runs while she's at school or big cleaning/organzing projects. I also run errands like returning and exchanging stuff at stores and calling people about repairs/maintenance/house stuff. Last week I was busy getting ready for her birthday party. Soemtimes I feel like I don't get a lot done but then the weekend rolls around DH is so happy that all the shopping and errands have been taken care of

DS doesn't go to school yet, but I am so looking forward to this. The hardest thing for me as a SAHM is the lack of a predictable stretch of time to get anything done.

DS goes from 9-12 two days per week. Prior to DD being born, I used the time to run errands, clean up around the house, and usually prep lunch and dinner. Towards the end of my pregnancy I used it more to relax, and now that DD is here, I'm trying to use to sleep!! :)

She doesn't go to school but she usually spend the night/next day at my parents house around once a week so I guess I can chime in! It just depends. I try to get as many chores done as I can. I get ready for the day, do some yoga or something & try to knock out all o most of my chores by noon. Then if dinner has veggies to be chopped or something I'll try to get that all done too. Then I'll run errands or just lay down or something. I'm 13 weeks pregnant & this fatigue is killer!

T goes to school 2x a week from 9-3. It seems like a lot of time but by the time I get home it's 915 and I have to leave to get him at 240. The days go quickly!

I have OB and ultrasound appts/meeting with perinatologist every other week which takes from 9-12 so I do that one day and then run errands. The other day I try to get caught up on stuff at home (getting windshield replaced today, cleaning, laundry, and working on to do list like photos and my continuing legal education credits for maintaining my law license).

Our new baby is coming soon (2 months or less!) so I'm trying to be productive on my days "off"!

What do you do?
