I didn't leave LO with anyone other than family until 13 months when she started daycare. She was the same - happy to go in an check things out. We've never had a single drop off freak out - and I worried at the beginning that something was wrong - but I think it's just her personality. She's happy to go, and happy to come home at night!

I think it's personality, so don't worry! I was also a SAHM and I tried to leave my son with a sitter in our home and at a drop off play place and he freaked out. That's just how he is though, he still cries at drop off a year later.

My LO is much younger- 9 months- but I'm the same way, I've hardly left her at all. I haven't left her anyplace like a church or gym child care yet, but I think I should soon to get her used to it. Even when my dad took her for a long walk the other day I was like.... is she going to freak out???? (She didn't. Happy as a clam.)

I'm a sahm and always with my LO. Never even left her with a baby sitter- the only ppl I've left her with are my parents or siblings and even then, it's only for a couple hours.

This week, we checked out a new church and I left her in their nursery. Was totally expecting a freak out, since she's never been left anywhere like that alone, but she was perfectly fine! Ate a snack, played with the other kids, sang songs... The teacher said she didn't cry or look for me once.

So the logical part of me was really happy - yay she's well adjusted even though she doesn't go to daycare - but then a small part of me is starting to get anxious. Is this normal?! Why ISN'T she freaking out?

She's a little over 2. My husband told me to chill -.-
