If anything, I would want to work part time with super flexible hours because of the weekly early day at school, school vacations, my husband's weird work schedule, etc. Ideally, though, I wouldn't want to go back to work so I could be at home getting the house cleaned, dinner ready, errands run, and all that good stuff. That way when the kids come home the focus would be 100 % on helping with homework, talking to them about their days, and extracurricular activities. We're leaning toward montessori if we go the school-route. Though I know it's more expensive, so I would have to have a good job to compensate for it. But the schools in our district aren't that great, I used to work in them and I didn't like what I saw.</p> <p>But I would like to work at some point. I think a part-time WAHM option would be the best, or the option of working at home some days. I nanny for a family right now who, after she had her daughter, she was able to switch to working at home FT, then they hired me 34 hours a week. But it was nice, because she was still at home if he DD needed her. Then I later got switched to PT to save money, and now they just juggle the days I'm not there. Would you go back to part-time or Full-time work? My sis is planning to, but then again she said she might not, if she has to coordinate with their after school activities ( sports, etc). I work part-time right now and I love it that way. I'd probably never go back to full time work unless we had to financially. </p>
