My husband and I always felt rushed with scheduling and making sure he was home in time to watch LO so I could log enough hours in and make scheduled calls. My friends thought I was so lucky working from home but let's just say it's very hard unless you have a LO who naps for 5 hours a day or you pay for childcare, which didn't make sense for us financially. When I finally did go back when LO was 13 months, it was verrrry hard to adjust back after being gone for so long and there are days that I hate it but I know that I need my work...I need TO work. We had pretty much no child care options with our long commute, MIL was supposed to care for LO but "dropped out" after a few weeks. I feel fortunate to be able to stay home but I really liked my job. Then after I had DD we made the decision for me to be a sahm. I hate leaving my kids, the thought of returning to work gives me crazy anxiety. Not because I don't like my job it's just the politics are getting kind of "hot in here", not to go into too much detail I'm in the defense industry and I know a lot people I work with probably need a job more than I do which is why I'm considering it. Within a few weeks, I knew I didn't want to do it anymore. I always thought I wanted to be a WOHM, but once I had DD I changed my mind.</p> <p>It took about a year and a half before we could arrange for me to be home full time.
